While it isn't an exact recreation of the original game, we've given the gameplay our own spin to fit the PC platform. The Diamond Records Revival project is being built from the ground up and aims to create a new beat em' up experience in spirit of the original JoJo DR. However, in November 2019, Bandai Namco terminated service for the game and permanently shut the servers down, leaving the game unplayable. The game featured numerous characters from parts 1-5 of the JJBA franchise, allowing you to take them into beat em' up or turn-based RPG levels in teams of three. These rewards can then be exchanged for other items, such as Diamond coins and other upgrades.JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Records was a Japan-only mobile game published in 2017 by Bandai Namco. Additionally, through special event quests, players can defeat enemies for special rewards. Upon completing daily quests, players receive various new items and materials. Apart from the main story quests, there are also daily quests and special event quests. Each quest has three different objectives that grant you different rewards upon completion. The main game mode features different quests from the anime series.

In their own town, players can battle against enemies in quests to unlock both team and individual player rewards.

Together, they can participate in different town events and join chat rooms. The game features a system where up to 15 players can join a ‘My Town’ team, which can either be joined through public registration or a private request. Its maximum length is dependent on the statue’s star rarity. In this mode, the statue’s abilities are temporarily increased. Once the gauge is completely filled, the character can activate ‘DoDoDo Mode’. Knocking out different opponents fills a gauge at the bottom of the screen. Each character also has their own ‘Growth Tree’, which allows them to upgrade stats and unlock new skills. The characters can be organized into teams of three to battle with. Unlocking the same statue twice combines their stats together to make a stronger character. Each figure has a maximum level of 99 and a rarity value ranging from 3-star rarity to 6-star rarity. The characters used are ‘statues’, in-game characters from the series that each have different health (HP), attack (ATK), and defense (DEF).

The main character being used fights against a large number of opponents in a 3D arena based on different locations from the anime series. Players fight against other characters from the anime, including enemies from each part of the series, such as Vampires, Zombies, and Nazis. It contains content from the first five parts of the series: Phantom Blood, Battle Tendency, Stardust Crusaders, Diamond Is Unbreakable, and Golden Wind. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Records follows the series’ anime adaptation.
